Smoking ceremony and Welcome to Country
Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country
A Welcome to Country and Aboriginal smoking ceremony, led by a First Nations guide, anywhere in Sydney.
Begin with a warm, traditional Welcome to Country and step into an Aboriginal smoking ceremony led by a First Nations guide. This is more than a ritual to watch. It is your chance to understand where the ceremony comes from, what it is for, and why it still holds meaning for Aboriginal people today, then to walk on Country in good spirit.
A welcome carried on the smoke of our native plants
The smoking ceremony is one of the oldest living customs in the world. Native plants are smouldered to create smoke used for cleansing, healing and welcome, preparing you and your group to come together and connect with Country, with each other, and with self.
Proceeds support healing for Aboriginal young people
Proceeds from Natcha tours help fund the Ngabul Foundation, a healing program for Aboriginal young people facing trauma, delivered in custody and in community.
The ceremony comes to your group at a location to suit you anywhere in Sydney. It is a natural opening for corporate events, team days, conferences and private gatherings, setting the tone for everything that follows.
